It’s official…Snapbytes Limited (UK) has joined the Appfire family! We’re so excited to share this news with the world and start a new chapter, alongside one of the most disruptive players in the Atlassian ecosystem.
Great Apps Then, Now, and Always
From humble beginnings developing apps for Atlassian products in 2006 to now being a Platinum Solution Partner and Top Vendor with over 4,300 global installations, one thing has remained the same. Our passion for creating excellent software solutions that make life easier for our clients.
This passion is the same now as it always has been and our customers can expect the same great apps and service from familiar faces, as our entire app development team has joined the Appfire family. The licensing and purchasing process also isn’t going to change, so customers can renew their subscription or license through the Atlassian Marketplace or their Atlassian reseller as usual.
“We’ve grown from strength to strength over the years to become the tight knit and passionate team that we are today. As our range of products and portfolio has expanded, our core principles have remained the same,” said Tuncay Şentürk, Snapbytes Founder and Atlassian Community Leader. “Our mission is to create the very best software solutions that enable our clients to thrive. Joining Appfire will accelerate the vision that we have for our products, and we’re proud to be part of this awesome team.”
Putting People First
Company values and culture are hugely important to us as an organization. Like us, Appfire puts people, be it employees or customers, at the heart of everything that they do. They take pride in their incredible product support and we’re looking forward to bringing even more value to our customers, through Appfire’s operational excellence and customer-centered approach.
We’re also strong believers that two heads are better than one, and over 400 heads are even better than that! This acquisition will give us access to brainpower and resources from a fantastic team of experts that’s spread across the world. We’ll also have the opportunity to integrate our apps with Appfire’s extensive portfolio, providing an even more seamless Jira experience for users.
The Future is ITSM
In line with Atlassian, IT Service Management is a high priority category that Appfire is investing in heavily.
“Atlassian’s Jira Service Management is a dominant leader in the ITSM industry and quickly gobbling up market share,” said Randall Ward, co-founder and CEO, Appfire. “As Atlassian takes on ServiceNow, Ivanti, and other competitors head-on, we’re listening to our partner network and working closely with Atlassian to deliver deeper integrations, workflow enhancements, and other new and exciting capabilities for businesses worldwide.”
We’re going to be bringing our ITSM expertise and apps to the Appfire team. Time to SLA, for example, is the best-selling service-level agreement tracking app on the Atlassian Marketplace, helping teams in over 70 countries to define, track and report on SLA performance. Whilst the Enhancer Plugin for Jira has workflow enhancements, custom fields, and KPI metrics that can be used to boost features within Jira and Jira Service Management.
“ITSM is more important now than ever before and Jira Service Management is the single point of communication for service users,” commented Onder Ozcan, Senior Product Manager at Snapbytes. “Our apps provide an arsenal for Atlassian users to track their SLAs, enriching their business workflows, monitoring KPIs and managing business assets to address their ITSM needs. Joining Appfire will revolutionise our product offering and bring world-class support services. I’m thrilled by the opportunity and look forward to creating ‘better together’ stories with our customers and partners.”
What’s next?
This acquisition is the right next step for us, our customers, and our partners. We can’t wait to work with the Appfire team to bring new and innovative software solutions that solve big challenges, so watch this space!
